Mr. Hamad is the CEO of Al Hail Holding, an Abu Dhabi based company overseeing a portfolio of diverse businesses including: infrastructure, retail, real estate, financial services, communication, power and energy. Mr. Hamad also serves as a Chairman of various businesses, including Global Development Group, a leading development company in the UAE.

Mr. Jassem has over 24 years of senior experience in banking and business. He is a Chairman and CEO of Arzan Financial Group for Financing and Investment. Deputy Chairman and Acting CEO of Addax Investment Bank. Board Member of Bank of Bahrain and Kuwait, Kuwait International Bank, Automated Systems Co, Al-Oula Geojit Capital and Miami International Securities Exchange (MIAX).

Sheikh Saqer is the Chairman, Investment Committee Member and Head of the Remuneration Committee of Planet Pharmacy. Sheikh Saqer is a Board member and Head of Audit committee of Julphar Pharmaceutical and a former Board Member of RAK Petroleum Company. With his strategic flair, Sheikh Saqer’s assessments and opinions on the pharmaceutical and healthcare sectors are widely regarded as authoritative.



Shailesh Dash Shailesh Dash

Veteran of the MENA alternative investments sector, Shailesh has 20 years of alternative investment experience. In 2010, he started Al Masah Capital, and since then Al Masah Capital has become an industry leading company with 53 employees and offices in Dubai, Abu Dhabi and Singapore. Al Masah Capital has raised more than $1bn across multiple asset classes with particular focus on healthcare, education, food & beverage and logistics. Previously, Shailesh had managed $4bn of assets and executed 14 IPOs and 5 trade sales. In addition, Mr. Dash created the 2nd largest PE business in the MENA region (extrapolated from rankings of PEI Asia) and served on the board of 12 companies. Shailesh’s success and track record have been recognized by his peers as he is consistently ranked as one of the top 50 most influential people in the regional financial services industry and was awarded “Outstanding Achievement by an Individual” by MENA Fund Manager Magazine. Shailesh is a post-graduate in Business Management and is also a member of the CFA Institute.

Sheikh Khalid is the Chairman of Bank Muscat and Vice Chairman of Al Salam Bank (Bahrain). He is also a Deputy Chairman of Al Omaniya Financial Services Company, Chairman of Dhofar International Development & Investment Holding Company S.A.O.G. and Director of Dhofar Cattle Feed Company S.A.O.G. Sheikh Khalid holds a BSc. In Economics from the U.K., and a Master’s Degree in International Boundary Studies from the School of Oriental and African Studies, the University of London, UK.

Mr. Mohammed serves as a Vice Chairman of Habib Exchange Company, Board Member of Al Hail ORIX, Transguard Group, The Developers and an Executive Director of Dalma Mall. He is also a General Manager of Al Towaissa and Director of Al Hail Holding. Mr. Mohammed has over 15 years of experience in organizational management, including project management, supply chain management, human resource management, business and program development and marketing management.

Board Member

Mr. Sadek is overseeing a group of companies in Egypt specialized in manufacturing electrical construction materials. He is the Chairman and CEO of El Sewedy Industries Co, El Sewedy Cement Co, the Chairman of El Sewedy Electric Co and a Board Member of several companies.

Mr Ghanim Alghunaiman Mr Ghanim Alghunaiman

Mr. Ghanim is the Deputy Director General for Investment of the Kuwait Fund for Arab Economic Development, (a leading institution in the Middle East with a focus on financing development projects in Arab countries and other emerging countries). Mr. Ghanim is responsible for investments and operations at the Kuwait Fund and is an authority in this field of funding for social development efforts. Prior to taking up the position of Deputy Director General for Investment at the Kuwait Fund, he was already leading the investment department as the Director of Investments.

Mr. Ahmad is the Group CEO for Pelaburan MARA Berhad (PMB), a government linked Investment Company in Malaysia. Prior to joining PMB, Mr. Rahman was a senior executive at a leading private equity fund manager with activities in SE Asia, UK and Australia and a private equity owned telecommunication infrastructure company in SE Asia. Mr. Rahman also held key positions earlier in his career with the Securities Commission Malaysia, Norton Rose LLP (London) and Zaid Ibrahim & Co Kuala Lumpur. He holds directorship positions in the National Bank of Abu Dhabi (M) Berhad and was a member of the Board of UDA Holdings Berhad (2009-2015), an urban development company wholly owned by Malaysia’s Ministry of Finance.

Dato Yusli Yusoff Dato Yusli Yusoff

Dato Yusli serves on the BOD of Mudajaya Group Berhad, Mulpha International Berhad, AirAsia X Berhad, Westports Holdings Berhad, YTL Power International Berhad and Malaysian Institute of Corporate Governance. Previously Board Member of the Capital Market Development Fund and chairman of the Association of Stockbroking Companies Malaysia. He was also Ex CEO/Executive Director of Bursa Malaysia Berhad (stock exchange) and served as exco member of the Financial Reporting Foundation of Malaysia. Dato Yusli has held various leadership roles in a number of private and publicly listed entities in Malaysia.
